The name of God is so important that God made it a commandment not to misuse the name of God! Lets look at some examples in the bible of how important it was to use the name of God! in the Old Testament the name of God was Jehovah. Therefore, whenever the prophets did something they always did it in the name of the Lord (Jehovah). In the age of the Son, the name of the Lord was Jesus. In the Age of the Holy Spirit the name of the Lord is Christ Ahnsahnghong.
1 Samuel 17:45David said to the Philistine, "You come against me with sword and spear and javelin, but I come against you in the name of the LORD Almighty, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied
2 Samuel 6:18After he had finished sacrificing the burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD Almighty
Psalm 118:11They surrounded me on every side, but in the name of the LORD I cut them off
Psalm 124:8Our help is in the name of the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 135:1Praise the LORD. Praise the name of the LORD; praise him, you servants of the LORD
Psalm 148:13Let them praise the name of the LORD, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.
Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
Isaiah 18:7At that time gifts will be brought to the LORD Almighty from a people tall and smooth-skinned, from a people feared far and wide, an aggressive nation of strange speech, whose land is divided by rivers— the gifts will be brought to Mount Zion, the place of the Name of the LORD Almighty.
Isaiah 24:15Therefore in the east give glory to the LORD; exalt the name of the LORD, the God of Israel, in the islands of the sea.
Isaiah 56:6 And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to my covenant
Joel 2:32 And everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved; for on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there will be deliverance, as the LORD has said, among the survivors whom the LORD calls.
Micah 4:5 All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever.
Colossians 3:17And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Then as you can see very clearly, through the name of God you can receive blessings, salvation, power of the Holy Spirit. We also have to praise the Name of God and Pray to the Name of God. That is why it is written:
Mathew 28:18- 19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
the name of the Father is Jehovah. The name of the Son is Jesus. How about the name of the Holy Spirit??? it is Christ Ahnsahnghong!! So in this age we must call upon the name of Christ Ahnsahnghong to receive salvation. We must pray in the name of Christ Ahnsahngong. We must sing praise to the name of Christ Ahnsahnghong. We must preach in the name of Christ Ahnsahnghong. We must bless in the name of Christ Ahnsahnghong. We must love the Name of Christ Ahnsahnghong. We must worship in the name of Christ Ahnsahnghong. Our help comes from the name of Christ Ahnsahnghong!! We must do everything in the name of the savior in the age of the Holy Spirit. His name is Christ Ahnsahnghong!!
Revelation 3:11-13-I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name. It's so true! even when we pray in the name of the Son or of the Father it's like dialing the wrong number since God changed His name in the new age of the Holy Spirit: Ahnsahnghong!!!
Yes, we can see so clearly in the Bible that the name of God is sooo important. God makes so many references to His name being used in the Bible. I we don't know and call the wrong name, the verse will come true, "My people are destroyed by the lack of knowledge." Hos. 4:6.
What about that prophecy in the Bible about Jesus's new name? It's like people hear one good and easy word and stick to it, ignoring the rest of the prophecies. There are many prophecies in the Bible. If we pay attention to only one, regarding the 1st Coming Christ, we will miss the more important ones about the 2nd Coming Christ. I say more important b/c it's the 2nd Coming of Christ that refers to our salvation in these last days.
