World Mission Society Church of God Keeps the Law of Christ.

As you have seen in my previous post, The World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Feast of God. According to the bible, we must keep the Feast of God at their appointed times.

Deuteronomy 16:16- 16 Three times a year all your men must appear before the LORD your God at the place he will choose: at the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the Feast of Weeks and the Feast of Tabernacles. No man should appear before the LORD empty-handed: (please click the highlighted verse to view the seven feast of three times --Leviticus 23)

The Seven Feast are to be kept by the children of God. However, we do not keep the Feast of God the way the Jewish kept it. There is the Feast of God under the new covenant established by Christ.

Hebrews 10:1- The law is only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves. For this reason it can never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect those who draw near to worship.

Mathew 5:17- "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished.

We can see very clearly that Jesus did not come to abolish the law of Moses but to fulfill it. The Law was a shadow, but the reality was found in Christ. Then how did Jesus come to fulfill the law?
Hebrew 7:11- 11If perfection could have been attained through the Levitical priesthood (for on the basis of it the law was given to the people), why was there still need for another priest to come—one in the order of Melchizedek, not in the order of Aaron? 12For when there is a change of the priesthood, there must also be a change of the law.

There was not an abolishment but a change of the law. Then how was it changed?

Hebrews 10:8- 8First he said, "Sacrifices and offerings, burnt offerings and sin offerings you did not desire, nor were you pleased with them" (although the law required them to be made). 9Then he said, "Here I am, I have come to do your will." He sets aside the first to establish the second.

Hebrews 10: 18 The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the law made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God.

The first regulation (law of Moses) was set aside, but there is a second Law!! what is this law?

Hebrews 8:7- For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another. But God found fault with the people and said: "The time is coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

verse 13 -By calling this covenant "new," he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and aging will soon disappear.

The second law is the new covenant! The old covenant is the Law of Moses, but what about the new covenant?

1 Corinthians 9:21 -To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law), so as to win those not having the law.

2 Corinthians 3:6 He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenantnot of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

Even Apostle Paul said he was under a Law- not the law of Moses, but the Law of Christ! That is why Apostle Paul also said he was a minister of a new covenant- not of the letter (law of Moses) but of the Spirit.

Romans 8:2 because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death.

James 1: 25- But the man who looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues to do this, not forgetting what he has heard, but doing it—he will be blessed in what he does.

In Conclusion the law of Christ is the perfect law that we should follow. The World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Feast of the New covenant and not the Old covenant. The Feast of God were never abolished!! They still have to be kept at their appointed times the way Jesus taught us to keep them. (Luke 4:16, Mathew 26:17, Mathew 26:26, 1 Corinthians 15:20, Acts 2:1, John 7:2, verse 10, verse 14, verse 37). The World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Sabbath day, The Passover and Unleavened Bread, The Resurrection Day (Firstfruits), The Day of Pentecost (feast of weeks), Feast of Trumpets, Day of Atonement, and Feast of Tabernacles. If we want to be blessed by God, we must keep the Feast of the New Covenant established by Christ.

How amazing it is that Second Coming Christ Ahnsahnghong came to this earth and let us know how to worship God correctly. Christ Ahnsahnghong taught us the Seven feast of three times! Through the seven feast of God we can receive Eternal Life! The World Mission Society keeps the seven feast of three times because it is the true church established by God Almighty!! God Ahnsahnghong is surely our God! Amen.
